How We Can Help
Wonder if you have what it takes to go after grant funding? Don’t hesitate! We can help guide you through the application process through one-on-one support, office hours, webinars and more.
One-On-One Support
Our State Leads in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin are key parts of their local and regional food system and school networks. They can help:
- Develop project ideas
- Form and manage partnerships
- Connect with resources
- Answer questions about your application
- Strengthen your grant writing by reviewing and/or editing your application
Grant editing Support
Applicants who would like support developing project ideas and/or forming and managing partnerships, please connect with your State Leads.
Support with strengthening your grant writing by reviewing and/or editing your application is available from Action for Healthy Kids, in addition to support from your State Leads. To receive this grant editing support from Action for Healthy Kids, complete this form by Wednesday, October 29 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
If there are more sign-ups than spots available for support from Action for Healthy Kids, priority will be given to applicants with less grant writing experience and those pursuing cross-state projects. Any applicant not selected for support from Action for Healthy Kids will receive the same support from their State Leads. Consideration will be given during the selection process to ensure State Leads have similar numbers of applicants to support. If there are fewer sign-ups than spots available for support from Action for Healthy Kids, additional applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis until November 24, 2025.
